PS Plus February Catalog Update: Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Headlines the Lineup

During the latest State of Play broadcast, Sony unveiled the newest additions to the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog. The fresh batch of titles will be available starting February 17.

The February update delivers a strong mix of blockbuster action, narrative indies, RPG adventures, and sports simulations.

PlayStation Plus Extra & Premium Additions

The following titles are joining the catalog:

  • Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 (PS5)
  • Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown (PS5)
  • Neva (PS4, PS5)
  • Season: A Letter to the Future (PS4, PS5)
  • Monster Hunter Stories (PS4)
  • Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin (PS4)
  • Venba (PS5)
  • Echoes of the End: Enhanced Edition (PS5)
  • Rugby 25 (PS4, PS5)

The clear headliner is Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, one of PlayStation’s biggest exclusives of recent years. Its addition significantly strengthens the value proposition for subscribers.

Meanwhile, the Monster Hunter Stories titles bring turn-based RPG flavor to the lineup, and Neva continues Sony’s recent pattern of highlighting visually distinctive indie experiences.

Premium Classics

For Premium subscribers, Sony is adding:

  • Disney Pixar Wall-E

Future classic additions have also been teased:

  • Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection (March)
  • Time Crisis (April)

This staggered rollout suggests Sony is investing more consistently in retro catalog expansion.

Games Leaving on February 17

As new titles enter, nine games will leave the service on the same date:

  • WWE 2K25
  • New World: Aeternum
  • SaGa Frontier Remastered
  • Cult of the Lamb
  • Super Neptunia RPG
  • The Ascent
  • Carto
  • Rez Infinite
  • Spirit of the North

Subscribers have until February 17 to play these titles before they are removed.

Analysis: One of the Strongest PS Plus Months in 2026

February’s catalog update stands out for one reason: Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.

Adding a recent high-budget first-party blockbuster dramatically increases perceived value for Extra and Premium subscribers. It signals that Sony is willing to rotate even its major exclusives into the service sooner than before.

Combined with a healthy mix of RPGs, indies, and legacy classics, this may be one of the strongest PS Plus months of the year so far.

The real question now is whether Sony can maintain this level of momentum in the coming months.
