PS Plus February Lineup

Sony has officially revealed the PlayStation Plus games for February. Starting February 3, subscribers across all tiers will be able to claim four titles, available to add to their library until March 2.

The lineup mixes sports simulation, survival, indie action, and high-speed aerial combat.

Undisputed (PS5)

Developed by Steel City Interactive, Undisputed is a realistic boxing simulation focused on licensed fighters and technical ring mechanics.

Critical reception:

  • 73/100 on OpenCritic
  • 60% positive user reviews on Steam

The game aims to deliver an authentic boxing experience rather than arcade-style brawling, making it a niche but interesting addition to the lineup.

Subnautica: Below Zero (PS4, PS5)

A standalone expansion to the original Subnautica, Below Zero takes players back to an alien ocean world — this time in a frozen Arctic region.

Critical reception:

  • 83/100 on OpenCritic
  • 90% positive user reviews on Steam

The survival-focused adventure is widely praised for its atmosphere, exploration design, and environmental storytelling.

Ultros (PS4, PS5)

Ultros is a psychedelic metroidvania created by one of the co-creators of Hotline Miami. The game blends intense combat with surreal visuals and cyclical progression mechanics.

Critical reception:

  • 79/100 on OpenCritic

Its distinctive art style and unconventional structure make it one of the more experimental titles in the February selection.

Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown (PS4)

The latest mainline entry in Bandai Namco’s long-running aerial combat franchise delivers fast-paced dogfights and cinematic military storytelling.

Critical reception:

  • 81/100 on OpenCritic
  • 87% positive user reviews on Steam

Even years after release, Ace Combat 7 remains one of the strongest arcade flight experiences available on consoles.

Analysis: A Balanced but Not Blockbuster Month

February’s PS Plus lineup focuses on variety rather than headline-grabbing AAA exclusives.

  • Subnautica: Below Zero is the most critically acclaimed entry in the batch.
  • Ace Combat 7 adds established franchise credibility.
  • Ultros brings indie experimentation.
  • Undisputed targets sports simulation fans.

Compared to months that feature major first-party titles, this selection leans toward solid mid-tier experiences with strong reputations rather than massive commercial hits.

Still, the diversity across genres makes this a well-rounded month for subscribers — especially those looking to try something outside their usual comfort zone.
